Phoenix has a rich Native American and pioneer history which is reflected in its museums. The most famous is the Heard, which houses the world’s finest collection of Native American art and artifacts.

The city is perhaps best known for golf. With more courses per capita than any other state in the west, the Greater Phoenix area accommodates nearly 2.5 million golfers per year.
